It is located in the town of Comandante Andresito, Misiones province, 64 km from the Iguazú Falls, surrounded by nature reserves and with the Iguazú River in the background.
There are five important yerba exporters in Argentina, and Hoja Verde is the fifth, behind Kabour, La Cachuera, Piporé and Las Marías.
