“Aguila” company was founded in Buenos Aires by the Frenchman Don Abel Saint. It was initially a small business dedicated to roasting coffee, which in 1880 began in the production of chocolates.
“Dulce de Leche” is a caramel-like milk-based spread made in Argentina. Its literal translation from Spanish would be “candy made of milk” and it is prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk thus creating a delicious caramelized creamy spread. This product is tipically used in sweet paistry as a filling in candies, cakes, cookies, and you can even make ice cream with it! It is also a popular spread on toast (just as you would use a regular nut spreads)
