One of a kind wooden & aluminum cup made of carob tree. Look below for details !
The most traditional way to drink yerba mate is like the Indians did - from a cup (gourd) and straw (bombilla). Genuine mate drinkers say a well "cured" mate contributes to the good taste of the drink. Also by using the cup and straw it forcibly removes far more of the valuable nutrients which yerba mate has to offer. Other methods do not. You
will need to try your own combination of cups and straws as yerba mate will taste differently in each type. Each person must experiment to find which best suits his taste
!
Yerba Mate cups can be made from many different types of material.
These include the natural gourd, wood, horns, ceramic, glass or metal.

How to use a wooden yerba mate cup :
On the wooden yerba mate cups, which have a tendency to crack when they dry out, you need to rinse the cup thoroughly and
put fresh water into the cup until you are ready to use it the next time.
Wood is highly sensitive to temperature changes as well.
When you fill the cup for the first couple of times, we would suggest that you not put hot, but medium temperature water into it.
Then you can start adding hot water after the first couple of uses.
If you drink mate EVERY day, you may leave the moist mate in the cup overnight until you are ready to prepare your next cup.
Do not leave the moist tea in the cup over 24 hours as it will mold.

Exclusive hole - system so you can add the water into them and not dunk the yerba leaves completely !

You will enjoy this Cup a lifetime!
